The essence of coaching is: To help people change in the way they wish to change and helping them go in the direction they want to go. Coaching supports a person at every level in achieving what they want to achieve. Coaching builds awareness empowers choice and leads to change.
The purpose of coaching is to improve people’s performance, unlock people’s potential to maximize their own performance. It is helping them to learn rather than teaching or telling them.
Most people believe and understand that only skillsets like Football and other sports and entertainment activities alone are the Life activities that deserves a Coach.
That indeed is a misconception at it peak!
Life in general and everything that revolves around it requires Coaching to attain the desired result(s)!
Public Speaking on the other hand has connection(s) with Coaching. When A Public Speaker is speaking, He/She is either helping his/her Audience to learn or guiding them to make a choice or take an action which are both act of Coaching
